Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Move to Tsavo National Park
Diani To Tsavo East National Park
Depart from Diani in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park via the Bachuma Gate. Begin your safari experience with an en-route game drive, for a chance to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife.
Arrive at Satao Camp in time for lunch and check-in. Rest after lunch
Evening game drive at 16:00 hours exploring the vast plains of Tsavo East.
Return to Satao Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Unforgettable Experience
Begin the day with an early morning game drive as the sun rises. The cool temperatures of the early morning encourage animals to be out hunting or foraging. You might also catch a glimpse of herds of elephants or zebras grazing in the fresh morning light.
After an exciting game drive, head back to the camp for a well-deserved breakfast. Once you’ve enjoyed breakfast, embark on another game drive through Tsavo. Your guide will take you to different areas of the park, exploring spots where wildlife congregates. Look out for elephants, lions, giraffes, antelope, and birds, while enjoying the tranquil beauty of the landscape. The game drive gives you a great opportunity to explore more of the park and spot more animals.
Return to Satao Camp for a delicious lunch. Enjoy a leisurely meal, and take some time to rest and recharge. After lunch, you can enjoy an afternoon siesta or relax in your tent, listening to the sounds of nature around you. The afternoon heat is a great time to unwind before heading back out for the afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, prepare for an exciting evening game drive. After your thrilling evening game drive, return to Satao Camp, where a delicious dinner will await you. Enjoy a hearty meal as you reflect on the day’s adventures. As night falls, relax and unwind in the comfort of your tent, listening to the sounds of the wild outside. Rest up for another exciting day of exploration ahead.
Day 3 - Departure
Start your day with an early morning game drive at the crack of dawn (6:00am), for an opportunity to spot wildlife in Tsavo. After the early game drive, return to your camp for breakfast. Check out after breakfast and embark on your final game drive as you make your way out of Tsavo East National Park. The journey to the park gate offers one last chance to encounter wildlife along the way. You might come across elephants, giraffes browsing on acacia trees, or buffaloes grazing in the distance. Exit the park and depart to Diani. Arrive in Diani by midday, giving you time to relax and unwind.
